Pick up your warp and easily pass your yarn between the shed with this beautifully made weaving sword (a.k.a. a shed stick). With one pointed end and one rounded end, you can easily use the shed stick in a way that is most comfortable for you. Inspired by the Navajo battens, it will glide through your warp ith ease.

Choose from 12", 16" and 20" (30cm, 40cm, 50cm) lengths. If you've never used a weaving sword before, choose the length that best suits your loom. The length of the sword should be at least 2" (5cm) longer than the width of your loom.

Made from highly durable and sustainably sourced tigerwood from South America. The alluring grainy texture of the wood ranges from rich, deep browns to pale browns with reddish shades in between. The range of colors will complement just about any loom color. The strength of the wood gives it a good weight without feeling too heavy. Each piece was hand cut by machine and hand sanded to an incredibly smooth finish by an American artisan and took months to complete. This tool will last you a lifetime and beyond. The perfect heirloom piece.

Each weaving sword is sold individually and is carefully wrapped for shipping.
